2 salmon steaks
Allow the steaks come to room temp. Sprinkle the salmon steaks with salt and pepper. If salt is a problem, use herb mixture such as Mrs. Dash.
Oil a skillet and heat to medium-high. Place the salmon steaks in the skillet and fry for 2-3 minutes, until they move when the pan is shaken. Remove to a baking dish and place in a heated oven at 375 (180) for 12 mins.
Rapini
Clean 1/2 lb rapini.
Gently fry 6 cloves garlic, crushed, in 1/4 cup olive oil for 2 minutes, making sure they do not burn. Remove the garlic.
Add 1/2 cup sliced almonds and fry 1 minute.
Add the rapini, pinch of salt and pepper.
Stirfry 3 minutes. Add the garlic.
Serve with herbed rice.
